"Mire droga manusha, ko tire mire lava..."

November 17-18, 2017, Kyiv, Ukraine

More details

On November 17 and 18, guests of the “Amala” festival had the opportunity to spend two unforgettable evenings, enjoying the works of Roma poets – Miha Kazimirenka, Mykola Ilyin and Rani Romani.
In the cozy atmosphere of the “Romance” Theater, there was also an author’s reading of poems and a conversation with one of the authors.

The event was organized and moderated by our colleague Tetiana Storozhko. The participants talked about about the language, the Roma fate and the path to Raisa’s creativity.

Poetic flashmob in honor of the memory of the Roma poet Mikha Kozymyrenko

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the memory of the outstanding Roma poet Mikha Kozymyrenko, our team started a literary flash mob. Anyone who wants to – whether they are Roma or simply admirers of Roma poetry – could record the poet’s poem on camera and post it on social networks. The cultural campaign started on February 6, the birthday of Mikha Kozymyrenko.
