This is a project for you and about you. Roma youth are the driver of change, the voice of the community, and our inspiration. We work for those who need access to relevant information, are looking for ways to implement their ideas, and want to learn how to create videos, podcasts, and media content.

How was the project implemented?
Every great idea starts with simple steps. We worked diligently to ensure that our project became as useful as possible for Roma youth.

Needs assessment
We conducted focus groups to understand exactly what young people lack. The results showed that the main needs are access to education, employment, and content creation skills.
Educational workshops
“TikTok Algorithms and the Secrets of Viral Content.” Training on how to create attention-grabbing content, with an emphasis on audio production.
“Media Ethics.” Rules for working with the media, building an image, and avoiding communication mistakes.”

Mentorship consultations
15 participants worked in teams on their own media initiatives. Participants received expert advice and created articles, videos, or podcasts.

Participants feedback
This activity is organized by the Center for Social Transformations TENET within the framework of the Grant Competition, held by the All-Ukrainian Association “Network of Civil Society Hubs of Ukraine” as part of the project “Small Grants for Inexperienced NGOs and Initiative Groups in Ukraine,” with the support of the project “Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries,” which is co-financed by the German government and the European Union.
