At the invitation of the Lviv-based public organization “Feminist Workshop,” our colleague Tetiana Storozhko gave a lecture titled “Invisible Women: Transformations of the Status of Romani Women in Times of War” at the Youth Center Molodvizh.
During the lecture, the researcher discussed the following topics:
Personal background: Why was she denied the opportunity to search for her Romani relatives?
The status and treatment of Romani women within and outside the community.
The civil sector: What are activists silent about?
War and the accompanying transformations in the daily lives of Romani women at home and during evacuation. Media manipulation by Russian propaganda.
