Artur Ivanenko
Specialist in healthcare, migration, education, living conditions, and Roma-related issues.
Holds a Master’s in Public Administration with honors and a Master’s in Public Policy (Central European University, USA and Austria degrees), specializing in human rights and social justice.
Advanced medical education (Specialist with honors in dentistry, Odessa Medical Institute of the International Humanitarian University).
Experience: Over 10 years of research experience, including extensive work in both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Anti-discrimination consultant for the Council of Europe (Ukraine) since 2024.
Maria Yasenovska
Human Rights Compliance Expert
Experience: Over 25 years in the civic sector focused on human rights, 20+ years conducting research and monitoring, and 20+ years leading a non-governmental organization.
Extensive experience with the international organization European Disability Forum; 15 years of collaboration with the Council of Europe; and 10 years as a member of the training pool of the Youth Directorate. Coordinated the Coalition Against Discrimination in Ukraine and the Coalition “Child Rights in Ukraine”.
Over 50 publications and research works, including reports to UN Committees. Successfully implemented over 100 projects, including analytical initiatives.
Vira Drangoi
Vira Drangoi is a researcher with 5 years of experience in law, human rights, and Roma-related issues. She specializes in anti-discrimination, social inclusion, and advocacy for Roma community rights. She utilizes modern research and educational approaches to community development and enhancing legal literacy.
Education:
-Roma Graduate Preparation Program (Central European University, Budapest, Hungary);
-Master of Laws (National University “Odessa Law Academy”, Ukraine) with honors;
-Bachelor of Laws (National University “Odessa Law Academy”, Ukraine).
Experience:
-Over 5 years in research and human rights advocacy;
-Skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research methods;
Legal consultant and advocate for Roma community rights.
Tetiana Storozhko
Tetiana Storozhko is a researcher with over 16 years of experience in the study of the history and culture of Roma in Ukraine.
She specializes in historical memory preservation and the study of the Roma genocide, integrating these topics into educational practices. Using oral history approaches, she records interviews and works with authentic testimonies to help preserve the cultural heritage of Roma communities.
Her academic work spans local, national, and international research projects, including the international ROCIT project focused on studying migration processes within Roma communities.
She investigates the development of Roma civil society in Ukraine, concentrating on understanding current challenges and adapting knowledge to support communities.
Kateryna Daineko
Human Rights Compliance Expert. She researches the development of Roma civil society in Ukraine, focusing on understanding current challenges and adapting knowledge to support communities.
Experience: 10 years in the civic sector in human rights; 8 years in research and monitoring; and 4 years of legal practice, including pro bono work.
Training Experience: 3 years as a human rights trainer, including conducting training sessions for trainers.
Prepared 20 complaints and advocacy documents for international human rights institutions and courts (including UN Committees, Council of Europe departments, the European Court of Human Rights, and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine). Authored 15 publications and research papers.
Oleksandr Podobrii
Expert in countering disinformation and media literacy, content strategy development, and media resource management, with a focus on information security.
He serves as Head of Content at the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security of Ukraine, working on countering Russian fakes and disinformation and studying information warfare strategies.
Successfully transformed the Telegram channel Spravdi into a news resource, increasing its audience 65-fold within two months.
A specialist with a background in political journalism, he is well-versed in creating content that builds trust and promotes media literacy within society.
Ruslana Sklyarova
Expert in hate speech and sensitive topics.
A journalist with experience in human rights, specializing in covering sensitive issues, including discrimination and hate speech targeting Roma communities.
As an expert in analytical journalism, she handles content requiring a careful approach to ethnic identity and minority rights.
Education: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Zaporizhzhia National University. Additional training includes: Conflict-Related Analytical Journalism (2018), Academic Integrity (2020), Marketing Strategies (2021), and advanced writing skills through the Prometheus course (2023).
