Tetiana Storozhko: On Volunteering, Youth, and Historical Memory

Why is “memory” volunteering an important aspect of preserving the Roma community? How can we collect and analyze data from past years? Tetiana Storozhko discussed these topics and more at the Roma Forum in Lviv. During the event, participants had the opportunity to watch the documentary film “Never,” presented by the speaker. In the film, Tetiana highlighted the issue of preserving memory in Roma families and, specifically, communication between generations.

The discussion prompted attendees to reconsider their attitudes towards family history and encouraged them to ask older relatives about events from the distant past.
