On May 14th, the presentation of our project and the opening of the exhibition “Through my mind to your eyes” took place within the walls of the Central European University in Budapest.
The project sheds light on a lesser-known chapter of Roma history, telling the stories of Roma individuals who were children or teenagers during the years of World War II.
The graphic and research components of the initiative are based on transcripts of recorded interviews with Roma individuals and depict various forms and strategies of survival during the horrific times of genocide.
