Romani youth participated in the international conference “The Power of Youth.”
The capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, brought together over 60 young activists and civic leaders from Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Germany, the Republic of Moldova, and Belarus to discuss relevant issues of the younger generation, expand their opportunities for involvement, and provide a platform for exchanging experiences, communication, and shared ideas.
Tetiana Storozhko, the chairperson of the civic organization “TENET,” historian, and researcher, was one of the participants and speakers at the international conference in Tbilisi. She had the opportunity to further discuss the current context of Ukraine, Russian aggression, and the struggle of Ukrainians in the war against Russian occupiers.
“Seven months ago, I woke up at dawn to the sound of sirens and was forced to leave my home, my dreams, everything that was precious to my heart. I was saving my life,” Tetiana Storozhko shared with the international audience, speaking about the Ukrainian context and the war in Ukraine.
