ERIAC – European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture

RomArchive – The European Roma Digital Archive

A multimedia archive that documents and showcases Roma culture, history, and art in all their diversity. Its sections cover literature, photography, theatre, film, music, visual arts, feminism, oral history, the Roma genocide, and more. The archive is built on the principles of self-representation: most materials are created or selected by Roma themselves. RomArchive shapes new narratives and counters stereotypes by preserving and promoting Roma heritage.

Museum of Romani Culture (Brno, Czech Republic)

A leading museum institution in Europe dedicated to the history, culture, and everyday life of the Roma community. Located in Brno (Czech Republic), it preserves unique collections of household items, art, archives, and documents. The museum’s website offers a virtual tour of the permanent exhibition, as well as access to temporary exhibition projects, educational programs, and publications aimed at preserving and promoting Roma heritage.

Ethnographic Museum in Tarnów (Poland) – Permanent Exhibition “Roma: History and Culture”

The Ethnographic Museum in Tarnów (a branch of the Museum of the Tarnów Region) launched in 1990 the world’s first permanent exhibition dedicated to Roma history and culture. The exhibition includes an indoor section showcasing traditional crafts, historical artifacts, clothing, and linguistic features, as well as a seasonal outdoor display called “Tabor,” featuring Roma wagons in the museum courtyard. This resource is valuable not only as a part of museum heritage but also as a digital tool for exploring Roma identity, socio-cultural history, and art through a virtual tour.

Online Collection of Publications on Roma History and the Genocide

A Ukrainian platform that brings together academic papers, articles, collections, interviews, and analytical texts on Roma history, with a particular focus on the genocide during World War II. It features a curated selection of materials in Ukrainian and in translation, covering topics such as persecution, survival strategies, memory, and contemporary reflections on the tragedy. The platform also includes sections on activism, art, and oral history.

Website of the International Initiative for the Remembrance of the Roma Genocide

The official website of the annual international initiative commemorating the genocide of Roma and Sinti on August 2nd. The platform brings together materials on the history of the tragedy, memorial events, youth-led initiatives, educational resources, and projects aimed at combating antigypsyism. Special emphasis is placed on youth engagement in building a culture of remembrance and fostering interethnic solidarity.

ROCiT – International Research Project on Roma Migration During the War

The ROCiT platform (Roma Civil Society in Transnational Migrations) is part of an international research project exploring the transnational mobility of Roma communities triggered by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The project investigates the experiences of forced migration, challenges of integration, civic engagement, and solidarity in new host countries. Special attention is given to the voices of Roma themselves — their self-organization and mutual support in times of crisis.

Tenet.Info – Media Platform on Youth, Memory, and Social Transformations

The official YouTube channel of the Tenet.Info media platform. It produces content at the intersection of youth activism, culture, human rights, and historical memory. The videos feature stories of young leaders, discussions on social change, materials about the Roma community, and explorations of complex issues from the past and present. The channel promotes dialogue, critical thinking, and active participation in social processes.

Roma Youth Participation in Action – Good Practices of Roma Youth Engagement

This handbook, prepared by the Council of Europe in cooperation with the ROMED and ROMACT programmes, showcases successful examples of Roma youth participation from local to European levels. It features concrete case studies, including activism against discrimination, women’s entrepreneurship, cultural initiatives, and youth networks. The core message is to demonstrate how civic engagement empowers Roma youth to influence decision-making and contribute to the development of their communities.
